Review of the Macbook Air
There aren’t many thinner laptops than the Macbook Air. We’ve all seen the advert where it fits in the envelope. It’s almost like a piece of paper. This beautiful gadget is the latest invention from Apple. Once again their design team has got it spot on and have designed not just a gadget but a piece of art.
Looking at the Macbook Air really does make you want it. Sure there are thinner laptops out there, but do they have anything on the design of the Macbook Air? Not one bit… With the Macbook Air came a laptop that people wanted to show off.
You’ll definitely want to be seen with this gadget. Once in your hands you’ll keep it in your hands to show the world. The build quality of the Apple Macbook Air is top notch. There have definitely been no cut corners in the manufacturing process.
The design is fantastic but the power of the laptop is not as good as some others. The Macbook Air is definitely not the fastest of laptops on the market. The Macbook Air is powerful enough to be used for basic processes but you may not want to replace your desktop with it.
The laptop comes with an LED backlit display which makes sure that the batteries last longer than if it had a normal LCD display. The screen produces rich colours so is not like some of the cheap screens you can get on laptops.
With a full keyboard you will be able to write faster than ever before. You won’t have to have childrens’ fingers to be able to type quickly on this ultraportable. Of course it’s still nothing compared to the keyboard connected to your desktop PC.
Connectivity may be a problem with the Macbook Air. It doesn’t come with a CD drive meaning you won’t be able to put your favourite CDs onto your harddrive. Maybe this is so you’ll be pursuaded to download all your music from iTunes!
Overall, the Macbook Air is a must buy. Its design is gorgeous. There is one more negative point and that is the price. It is a very expensive piece of equipment. There is a way to get it free however. Simply sign up and complete a DVD trial with Blockbuster or another service. Then spread the word and tell a few friends. This method has been seen on the BBC and CNN
